Hi!

Can you please provide somes tips for a player, who is transferring from a regular table to deepstack table with antes?

I was regularly playing in PS 9 max regular NL10/NL25 tables with 100b BI, achieving satisfying results from a sample size of 0,5kk hands, without fixing a vpip/pfr gap. Half of these results are shown in the graph below.
Recently I took a chance to play in GG 9 max NL5 tables with 200bb BI and 0,5bb antes. I am struggling here after 0,2kk hands, being able to survive without deposits only because of rakeback and bonus system. I don't have a clear understanding of preflop and postflop strategy, when additional 100bb stack and ante is involved. Also not having villain's hud fold frequencies is challenging. I'm trying to understand necessary adjusting requirements for GG tables to be able to generate profit similar from PS tables.
I'm aware of larger preflop bet size, looser opening range, calling and betting lighter and defensive strategy aproach. I tried to implement these strategies to some degree for GG tables, I felt uncomfortable and results seems the same, so I have to receive a deeper concept of adjusting.

Thank you for the support!

As you stated, you would be able to increase vpip and pfr from all positions due to the extra money from antes. You would also be able to defend wider vs. opens compared to 9-max no ante, etc. It doesn't look like you're doing this as your vpip/pfr are similar or even tighter.

Just curious, can you post your rake paid for the 9-max no ante and the 9-max ante tables? I would imagine the 5nl ante games are going to be incredibly high rake.

Thank you for your aid! I will evolve from annoying nit to an adventurous lag player. From presented sample I paid on average ~0,08bb per hand from 9-max NL10 no ante tables and ~0,13bb per hand from 9-max NL5 deepstack ante tables, You're right about predatory rake, generous rakeback system somewhat equalize this. Happy Easter!
