i suspected the set or hes on the draw ,more likely FD on flop.He bet so small on turn i was pretty sure in this moment its a draw.So i decided to shove turn.Any thoughts, comments?
I don't like the x/all-in here OTT, unless you know for sure vilain pays anything for his draws. Otherwise, we're just turning our aces into a bluff and praying he doesn't have a set.
Pretty sick spot..I think folding turn is the most conservative and maybe the right play considering we're out of position. You even have the FD blocker..I think vilain is representing something more than a pair here..
But then again, I'm thinking about the hand here an now, but if it were me playing, I don't know if I could make the fold.
This!
He could very well have been raising his pocket KK, QQ, JJ and TT on flop thinking he'd take the hand down right then and there. Ott, it's harder for him to be c/r with only a top pair, since you've shown strenght..
I think that if you shoved all in flop and he showed up with sevens, fives or deuces, it'd just be a cooler, whereas you'd still be a strong favorite against his range.
Ott however, since we just narrowed his range to KK, QQ, JJ, TT, 77, 55 and 22, and have shown aggression throughout the hand, I think we're pretty slim..
That being said, shove flop, b/f turn...
While Villain's turn bet is only half the pot, he will be able to get it all in on the river for a lot sized bet. When Villain raises your flop bet, it becomes pretty likely that you're going to get it all in, and absent some sort of read, I think I'd be happy to get it in on this flop. While you're going to be crushed when he has hit his set, there aren't many two pair hands he will have here, and I think small stakes players will often call a shove on this flop with 88+ or a FD. Shove the flop.
