You have a massive advantage on this flop, he should very rarely have 2 pairs or a set. I like your play, can make him do a mistake with a flush draw or a J.

Isnt this a spot where hero should just call and allow villain to cotinue wider? Or would that line be better with Ad?

I feel like the Ad makes a better call as it reduces the number of bluffs he holds and decreases the likelyhood of a difficult turn card.

Pure flat with or without a diamond. You should only jam here allso on a small freq.

I definitely just start with a call on the flop. We don't need much protection and we want to keep villain's worse hands around. 3-betting mainly forces us to face the stronger part of villain's range. And he might even hero fold AJ or QQ since our flop 3bet looks so beast.

A lot of his flush draws will be Jx.

If he rarely calls with worse then we should 3bet bluff this loads.

I'm in two minds. Feel like he shouldn't have much here and we do t need to be balanced, but also that if he does have a Jack then there are loads of action killing cards on the turn, that we are ahead now almost 100% of the time. Gut instinct is just call, but the more I think about it, the more I want to put money in now particularly against Jxdd which is a significant part of a CR range here

Also want to build the pot in case he has (for example) AQdd and an Ace or Queen hits

If he has Jx diamonds there are no action killers on the turn. Villain often
turns 2p when a Q/K/T hits and if it bricks it goes bet - op jams - call or check - op bets - call or jam. Allso why would you want to build a pot against AQ if A hits? Money will go in if the turns tptk + fd. Without any reads that villain will allways call the jam then is the the purest call.

I think the only action killers are 2/3 and villain has 87dd on a small freq.
