I sometimes check call here. I usually do it w AK on a flop like this.

Not betting this flop is terrible and I think folding is fine

This is well-played, I play it exactly the same.

It's not awful, folding is probably marginally better vs. most players.

why are you folding? you are ahead of most of his range here, 90 precent of the time he has top pair and a draw, or just a combo draw.

I probably wouldn't lay it down on such a drawy flop.

uhm Im a little bit confused :/
Why is this a standard fold ? It is 10NL, I would not just fold that here. KJ and QT have us beat, 99 is very unlikely since the player is not a standard set mining TAG or something. The player just sucks I guess. These stats and this limit .. its very likely.

I could never fold here.

At NL10 I reraise this all-in every day of the week against 29/7/2.5

What about cold-calling, and reevaluate turn ?
If any draw hits, we then c/f.

Why could anyone say this is a fold? There's TONS of hands that we beat here - draws, top pair hands, etc.

I'm as nitty as anyone, but not so much that I'm folding the best possible overpair just because someone raised.

After SB folds out, it's heads up - I think this is a call the raise at the very least - in fact if someone said that OP should just 3-bet ship the monies in right here, I wouldn't argue.

you could never fold AA post flop and do well at NL10 IMO, and theres too many combo draws/stupid stuff he can have here for this to be a fold to me. id probably b/3b flop, calling a shove, or bomb any blank turn if just called.

Mehhh, a loose and sorta passive player raises us with another person left to act.. warning bells are going off in my head. Let me know if you guys somehow think this range isn't good, but this is essentially all I see raising the flop, and it doesn't look good:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 35.695% 35.69% 00.01% 20138 4.50 { AhAs }
Hand 1: 64.305% 64.30% 00.01% 36283 4.50 { JJ, 99, AdTd, KTs+, QTs, JdTd, KTo+, QTo }

Good point, and I probably agree with the range. I may lean toward just calling the raise and feeling better about getting it in on a blank turn - all the big draws now become sizable dogs and if something crazy comes in, we can fold.

On a complete blank, our equity goes up a little bit, but what's your turn plan? Check to him and pray he bets so we can c/rai? What about when villain checks turn? I mean, there's just so many things that have to go right for us to get it allin and be ahead on the turn. If we were in position, calling the raise wouldn't be horrible because we could control the pot and do what we want with it on the turn but OOP I think we're just at his mercy and that sucks.

I think fold is a better than pushing and calling really sucks IMO

i am seeing why a fold would be good as per thac's explanation. But i still think at nl10 your going to see people do this with random Kings, even AK, or naked draws enough to make shoving over profitable. I think if hes a good player post flop you can fold this but meh, i still get it in if im playing NL10
