I think I may have outleveled myself and put too much into this guy's stats. I had 166 hands on him and he was 21/15/3.5 with a fold to 3bet of 100% at the time.
Basically he has the same stats as me pretty much.
Folded around to him and he opens from the sb. Because he folds everything to 3bets at this point I don't want to 3bet too big, but I'm not going to limp AA that's rediculous. I 3bet hoping he finally has a big hand and maybe he'll 4bet me. Also maybe he will play QQ or AK by flatting.
He just calls and the flop comes out 569 with two diamonds. I lead, he raises me.
Now keep in mind I can fold AA to some people, I don't like to ina 3bet pot, but if they r kinda fishy I can see them calling a 3bet w a small pp for a set, or 78s. Vs these guys depending on their stats I'd raise and see what they do.
But this guy is playing just like me and his fold to 3bet is 100% so far so I rule out 66, 55, 99, and 78. The only thing I can think is maybe he tried to get tricky with a huge hand like KK, maybe he played his QQ by looking to flop a non A or K, maybe he has AKS. I figure in any of these scenarios he gets his stack in on this flop so I just shove.
Did I overthink this?
