I would check-call and re-evaluate on turn. I might occasionally donk here with worse than 99, to get better hands (like, if you don't beat AK or a small pair ) to fold, but I wouldn't do it with 99 that often, on that flop structure. He'll just often fold hands you beat and if he calls/raises you're either toast or he has tons of outs with a hand like overs+FD. Donking just puts you in an awkward place.

That said, not sure you wanna call 3-bets against unknowns with 99 OOP. Medium pairs (either pocket or flopped ones) are very difficult to play without reads or even basic stats. Sans flopping a set it's very difficult to know where you're at. It could be an auto stack off on that flop, or it could be an auto fold, how would you know?

flop is preety bad even with 1 overcard, you cant rep 444 or 333, you dont have that many tens either other than ttt, you lack bdfd or bdsd, checking and just folding flop vs anything but range bet

lol yea fair enough, but do you play all of your 99 combos the same or do you take a different line with our 9d9x combos?
