I'm happy splitting the action.

If you want to split action on the ME 50/50, that's fine with me - not sure I'd want to play getting less of my own action than that, though. Anybody who wants to just cash out is obviously welcome to that, as well.

Let me know - we've got a week to kick any ideas around.
Well, it's multi-entry, so sign up twice and we'll all share the pot? we'd have $77/$150 or so.

That's an option, albeit not my preferred one:

The fact is that I'm not a terribly effective multitabler, and (hopefully) will be alive in the $24+2 when the ME kicks off.

The fewer tables I have going, the better off I'll be, in my opinion.

To put things in perspective, I've been 2-tabling Rush PLO as a main game in 2011.

Obviously the $$ are insignificant, and I really don't want to that guy, but I'm uncomfortable with the principle. I totally agree with you that's no incentive for you to play if you don't own a share. But I don't think it's fair for you to get another freeroll.

So I propose one of two solutions (cus I really don't care about my $5 and would love to let it ride and hit it big, lol):

1) Transfer all the $$$ to Roo as a TY for setting up and organizing the series. He then plays a tourney and we split 50/50, with AAC taking over Roo's x% share (the $13 he invested).

2) Take the total tourney winnings from the event AAC played and entering a larger buyin event (maybe the Sunday Million?) with split determined by whatever % of money AAC invested. AAC obviously plays the event.

Just my thoughts.

That's fine. I'm not looking to get over on you guys.

Again, whatever you guys want to do is fine by me - it's your money. I'm glad that I was able to bring you all some kind of return, even a small one. Keep in mind that you guys still have 35% of my action in the $24+2 KO.

That being said, just let me know what you all want to do before Sunday.

Oh yea, I didn't mean to suggest AAC was trying to angleshoot or do anything wrong. Personally, I'd like to spin it again and I'm fine with either option. So my vote would be it's up to you AAC. If you want to match the dollars restaked, you play in a bigger tourny. If you don't want to risk it, then transfer to Roo (assuming he's OK with playing a freeroll).

When's the $24KO scheduled?

That being said, I'm certainly appreciative of 'Roo putting this thing together for us all.

If he wants to take a crack at a tourney on uNL's behalf, I say let's ship to him, I'll assume his share of the 35% or 50% or whatever you folks decide, and we cheer him on. After all, I've already got another tourney to try to win for us.

If he doesn't want to do this, I'll consider playing a second entry in the ME.

I'm ok with all of this. I had a great time in the league. I just wish a few more people had picked it up.

And that the rake wasn't ridiculous at the limit games.

Just saw the thread today. Was checking the mini-ftops schedule. Are you playing the $10+1 PLO Hi rush rebuy today at 1pm est or available to play it? If your game is rush plo I think this would be a great fit for you and us. Then ship the remaining $ to Roo for a tourney or tourneys of his choice.

No, (sadly?) I work a 9-5 and I'm in the office.

I really only get to play large tournaments on the weekends, if at all.

Hey guys, I posted a month or so ago wondering if I could join to inevitably lose cash in some uNL cash games, are you still taking applications?

Also, Roo are you going to create a couple tournies so we can use those tickets?

Also the ring game tables don't seem to be operational atm?

The ring games have been recreated (they disappear with each server reboot). I will create $5+.50 tournaments for this Sunday. I assume FRNL is the game of choice, and starting times of 2pm and 8pm have been suggested (remember that DST is in effect in the States, but not in Europe yet). Let me hear some opinions, please.

As for sending me to a tournament: I'm not in it for the money. Moreover I don't think I'm very good at big field tournaments, so it would be -EV. Of course if you can't find any other use for the money I'll do it. However we can simply give it to the Japan charity event that Stars will inevitably run at some point.

I wasn't exactly thrilled about how the tournament series turned out in February, so I didn't run it this month. (I also had to face some real-life issues.) Please let me know any suggestions for April.

I was wondering about that. I think things have died down as far as games, thought you might of removed them. The excitements worn off a little which is normal. I check it every day or two checking to see if an 8 game is going, fun game especially since no one is a real pro at it.

I think there's an unrealistic expectation for these events from the forum. It's unlikely we're ever going to get a field of 20-30 people playing in a tourney, and definitely not for a tourney series. Many of us play a ****load of poker as it is and taking time off to play more poker isn't something I would do on a regular basis.

When I was a part of the MTT forum we would run a tourney challenge once a week for which we got a decent turnout. Maybe that would work better. Pick a day (we did it on Monday or Tuesday so it didn't interfere as much with our play times), maybe have an euro time and an american time, schedule 3-4 tournies in an hour time slot and run it every week. This way people know that on a certain night at a specific time they can sit down and play some tournies.

And if members don't play drop them from the roster. It'll likely be driven by more junior members as the senior guys tend to be more professional and less likely to take a night off to participate.

I didn't realize there was additional money up for grabs for a big tourney or else I would have taken it a little more serious.

What do you guys think about playing the $5.50 this weekend with all winnings going towards satellite seats to the mini-ftops main event. We could also use the $78 as another seat towards main event.

The winner would use the $78 from the previous tournament with a 50/50 split, with the guys who contributed from the previous tournament getting their % of the 50%. Second place would get a seat with a 50/50 split and so on. (with each player in the tourney getting an equal % of the 50 % for seats 2 on. Give the members of the club until Friday 11:59pm to join in, then start opening it up to the regs of the ftp and stars micro threads. I think there would be a lot of interest from guys looking to use their $5.50 home games ticket and another free seat added.

I would be willing to help delete members and add new players that are signing up for the satellite on Saturday. I would just need administrator permissions. Might be a good bit of extra work but I wouldn’t mind putting in the time.

What do you guys think?

Do you guys want to book action on the ME - let's say up to like $35-40 worth - and I can then ship you all back any left over funds? This way, uNL has a horse in the ME, it's not a freeroll for me, and I don't need to enter it more than once.

If not, I can just ship over the amount owed to you.

Just a thought - let me know.
