I would say, again, a good spot to bet the flop and collect the dead money.


As played, even if he is passive, he probably does this with any 9x. I guess we are splitting most the times and losing to J8. I guess he could have also played a set this way. Think its OK to call.

when you limped what was your plan for the flop?
in my mind, aside from flopping a straight, it really doesn't get much better than this for you. its a limped pot, you're in position, flop a pair with a gut shot. this is an easy bet here. doesn't have to be big
