6max vs Full Ring 6max vs Full Ring

I'm pretty new to the microstakes and I have a question...

What are the advantages/disadvantages to playing in a 6max vs a full ring? At first I was playing a lot of 6max and doing reasonably well, and I thought for some reason it would be better to play 6max because I figured I'd be going against less people. I would play about 2 tables at a time.

Now I've started playing full ring and although I've still just started I've been making money a bit faster it seems... The blinds go around less often and I pretty much just play like a nit and wait for strong hands. I can also play like 3 tables at a time with not much more effort. I'm starting to think full ring is more profitable.

Thoughts on which one is better?

If you are just starting out, playing 9-max might be good. As you said you can play tighter preflop which will probably lead to you making less mistakes. I think 6-max is going to be more profitable though, but I'm not really sure how big the difference is. Playing 3 tables of 9-max might be more profitable than 2 tables of 6-max. I also think you will learn more by playing 6-max, as you will have to steal a lot more and there will be a lot more post-flop play.
