First time playing with villain. He is running 17/12 over 44 hands (not a big sample at all). I think his squeeze is definitely not KK+ only, though I have no clue how much air or AK is in his range.
I think flop is the most interesting spot. My hand looks exactly like JJ and TT. By betting flop, it feels like I am turning my hand into a bluff. But not betting makes the hand very difficult to play later on and I am giving away free cards.
What do you guys think of SB's flop check? My flop check? how about the turn/riv play? Feels like they are all debatable.
I think the SB checked with the intention of check/raising / check/calling since that flop hit good for a majority of everyones range. The check on the flop is interesting..since villian checked and could be giving up on a squeeze play. By not betting were kinda lost on the turn and river. I don't blame you for calling turn + river the way it played out
I am bet/folding this flop and giving up at any turn and river if he check/calls because this board smacks our range and we have Qh blocker so the only combination he can be c/shoving with (which we aren't instantly smacked by) are AJhh and AKhh and even those are doing really good vs us... so yeah 150/fold flop. As played... well we probally can't fold.
What about 4bet/calling preflop? so much deadmoney and we are really setting ourselfs up for though decisions post-flop by just flatting ( I know this is not a good argument often ).
