HU SnG turbo on FTP. my brother was screaming for me to come watch. some guy was going all in every single hand non stop and he had lost his first 5 games and won his next 8.

this is when i started watching and told him to loosen up (i saw him fold KT. i was in disbelief).

his style was to wait for pairs over 8s, A8 and up and KJ and up. (maybe even better than this A9 and KQ perhaps?)

my style was to play pairs of 7s, Q9 and up, K8 and up and A2 and up.

he went 10-5 with my style and decided he wanted to go back to his to which he went a further 6-3 before the guy left.

i agreed that since the blinds were so small we could indeed wait for a hand to totally dominate him, but i argued that we could make more dollars/minute playing looser as the games would finish faster. not only that, but it will give villian a lot more wins and encourge him to keep playing us rather than my brother being entirely nitty and win every game.

versus someone who we were gaureenteed to play forever, i'd play tighter, but vs someone clearly just having fun we should loosen up some.
