.25 HU SNG - Jam or Fold turn? .25 HU SNG - Jam or Fold turn?

Villain's pretty TAG and everytime he bet out, he usually had some piece of the board. He limped all his buttons and he only 3 bet me once and that was to like 4X my raise. I think he started calling me lighter in the BB because I been raising so much. If hes calling me lighter, should I limping more buttons at this stage? I feel like he does float me on some flops because I was betting out pretty frequently. Now on this turn, since he was never betting out without a made hand and it seems like he wants to get it in, should I be jamming here or folding?

If he is calling you lighter, you don't necessarily have to limp more buttons. Only when they start 3 betting me lighter do I usually start limping, or when the effective stack gets small. You can also take into consideration how they will react postflop.

As far as this hand is concerned, I think I like jamming. You said it yourself that he was floating you light, but has he ever donked out on the turn yet? If he has, than this is a definite jam.

Well the bet sizing seems more like a protection against the flush draw, but if he did donk out it was usually smaller on the turn and when I check the flop. This bet sizing just seems like Jx or 2 pair here wanting to get it in against a FD.

What kind of Jx hands do you think were floating you? I agree this is true against a lot of players, from the info I read, this villain didn't seem like one of them. I could be wrong. You would have a greater feel based on the previous hands. I just think he could have 3x, 4x, or a lower Qx w/ or w/o a flush draw too often.

the only Jx hand I see in his range is 3Js or 4Js. He might be calling me with those in his PFR.

You should never limp any BTN @ this stakes. Raise or fold BTN is pretty much standard.

@ Turn, he I see made flush or two pair in his range. Perhaps QJ.

--> easy fold, don`t overplay TPMK here.

Trash post IMO.

Limping is an opponent-dependant move, and is one of two possible adjustments against a villain that 3bets often (frequent 4betting being the other with different benefits and drawbacks). Limping also becomes necessary as effective stacks decrease.

Folding TP with 17BBs effective without a soul read is pretty bad too. The only question is whether to shove or flat.

I prefer to c-bet somewhat larger, ~t180. As played, I like a jam too.
