So i had these two hands in about 10 minutes and im not sure i made the right call in the end. Im interested to hear what you think. I think taking in consideration board texture and opponent action, we are likely behind but im just wondering whether calling shoves like this is standard and whether folding in these spots is considered too nitty. Thing is, i just cant see what im ahead that shoves unless 5nl people just prank me every time (hopefully not, lol). So thoughts for hand 1 and 2?

Hand one you could backraise it should play fine Vs SB squeezing range. As played i think calling or folding are both very close. Id probably call.

Hand 2 you can definitely fold without to much worry , BB's range is set mines , its possible he has JJ 88 or some weirdly played AhQh AhKh , but i wouldn't worry to much about that.

I'll try taking a stab at it.

Hand 1:
Preflop
I would have raised preflop unless UTG was a super tight player.
A raise from small blind into two players, one of them being UTG, usually indicates a solid hand since most people aren't willing to 3bet light in that situation. I'm thinking he has TT+, AK, AQ, maybe AJ or KQs at the lowest. QQ is ahead of this range so calling is fine.

Flop
This flop doesn't help either of our ranges unless we're calling with ATs or JTs. He will usually cbet since its unlikely we hit anything on this flop. Calling here is pretty standard.

Turn
This shove looks pretty strong. Our equity against TT+ would be 36% and calling would be 35%. It's also possible he could be bluffing with AX hands. Using this range would justify a call but we should try to think about our perceived range before acting. We called UTG raise, SB reraise, and flop bet. We can remove AA, KK, AK, and even QQ from our perceived range because of how passive we have been. He also doesn't think we have TX, 88, or 99 otherwise he wouldn't be shoving. That's as much as I can narrow down. Hopefully someone else can recommend a perceived range.

This is a really hard decision to make and it depends on if he bluffs and plays JJ this strong. Without reads I would assume he doesn't, so I would fold.

TL;DR: Raise UTG pre, Fold turn without reads

i didnt raise pre because the dude was 200bb deep, i figured he might call with basically anything unless i made it really big. Also i had to worry about other players behind me and whne people raise 3.5bb pre 200bb deep that usually signals a strong hand and id hate to get 4bet my queens (which has happened to me in the past).

H1- i like your line, i'm folding turn, his range could be AA-JJ, AsKs. He shouldn't have weak hands in his range as he's squeezing on SB vs 2 early positions.

H2- fold unfortunately, strongest line ever by villain

Wow I totally misread preflop. I thought it was UTG open instead of MP open. My bad
Nvm I'm ******ed it was an utg open for hand 1
