Villian is 43/17/1.1 over 65 hands so a little fishy and definitely loose. How would you play this? I have been getting pummeled the last few days (set over set, FH over FH, set vs straight, etc.. 9 BI down swing) and am probably playing a little weak tight.

BB: $3.00
UTG: $12.50
UTG+1: $5.02
UTG+2: $7.52
MP1: $5.00
Hero (MP2): $5.07
CO: $5.84
BTN: $5.00
SB: $5.00

Pre Flop: ($0.07) Hero is MP2 with K A
1 fold, UTG+1 calls $0.05, UTG+2 calls $0.05, 1 fold, Hero raises to $0.25, 4 folds, UTG+1 calls $0.20, UTG+2 calls $0.20

Flop: ($0.82) 5 K 2 (3 players)
UTG+1 checks, UTG+2 checks, Hero bets $0.70, UTG+1 raises to $1.60, UTG+2 folds, Hero?

flop raise cbet stats?

On this board you can fold to the raise. His AF seems a little low too.

flop raise cbet is 33% over a 7 hand sample, so pretty unhelpful being i only have like 60 hands on the guy

I just mean that preflop stats in general don't correlate to postflop stats that well. There are a lot of players who are loose passive preflop and an absolute maniac post, and similarly there are players who are super aggressive pre but play like nits post.

Since OP never mentioned any real postflop stats, I'll just go by AF, and 1.1 AF seems rather low in general.

If you want to use preflop stats, the large gap between his VPIP and PFR also suggests that he is passive and is more likely to call down TP hands rather than raise them. Don't look at the "17" number and think he is aggressive, he just probably plays a lot of hands and overvalues weak aces and broadways etc. to think they are worth opening with.

I dont give a 43/17 credit for a set

i dont think 50 hands gives any idea on aggression stats tbh, i dont look at those stats before 1k hands

u cant just fold TPTK everytime u get raised, this is ridiculous...ur opponent makes all the difference, this guy is too loose...i fold TPTK if a 11/8 rauses my cbet...not a 43/17!

okay, say turn card is a blank, do you check or bet again? If you bet and he re raises do you fold? If you check and he bets do you call? If you are of the mind set to just ship the flop, are you assuming a greater percentage of the time he's calling with hands you beat with your TPTK?

Probably reraising that raise vs a 43/17 at NL5 looking to get it in, at Rush I see KQ/KJ a ton there... If its a set so be it but that's not nearly often enough vs someone that loose to consider folding.

I hate that kind of spot, but he looks like calling station to me, his pfr is a bit high but it may be just because of small sample size, his af is small, secondly it is 3way pot and he reraises despite another person left to act, I would fold, but maybe I am also weak tight

i would get it in here on that board, even if he has two pair we have some outs. But i would not be surprised to see him show up with Kx or a flush draw.

pre is easily a 35c raise.

we have position so i don't mind flatting the turn raise and see how villain plays it on the turn.
