Pre is a pure steal, both blinds had been folding a lot so I was doing this with ATC.

Flop I hit a meh pair, betting out because I've got OK equity if called on a semi drawy board and because c-betting is kinda my 'default' if I'm not sure what to do. He flats, and now I'm planning to check the turn back.

Turn OH SNAP TWO PAIR. Plan changes to betting out for value from 1-pair hands. Minraise is a bit odd, but I'd expect him to go bigger for value. Even if he does have a set, I've got 2 outs with the queens and my implied odds will be amazing. Calling to evaluate OTR. Probably folding if he pots the river on a blank.

River he checks it to me, is there room for a valuebet here, or is that too thin? Think he'll find it hard to fold a 1-pair hand to a bet of $1 or so. Will have to fold if he shoves over any bet I make. Worth a go, or just check it back?

um...you never posted any real reads so why do you have the monster under the bed syndrome when you have a super strong hand as this one
No, we are not folding to a pot size bet on the river, many people spazzes at these limits
to be honest, one could even argue for a reraise on the turn because it's a drawy board

river checks implies a weak hand unless he's a super trappy player
at best his hand is Qx
this is the easiest value bet, maybe around 2$ or a bit more
reason for betting this big amount, his hand is literally faced up, air or Qx
with air, he's folding regardless of what bet size you make
with a Q, he'll think he's good alot of the time therefore will call bigger bets

and if some crazy hands that beat you play like this at this limit, then take note of that, next time use your past notes to make judgement on your opponent

Not really monster under the bed syndrome, call flop, raise turn, bet river is a very common value line from fishy opponents when they hit a set/other big hand. He's not looked like the kind of opponent to spazz particularly so far, but after he checks the river I'm pretty sure I'm ahead.

I'd bet the river, although I'd consider making it ridiculously small to induce spazz, since his line looks more like a bluff than a value hand. If you bet 1/2p or more, it's probably a b/f, but that'd feel pretty gross with the pot odds you'd have. Betting really small might reduce the pot odds, but I think it'd increase bluffing frequency enough to make a b/c possible.
