5nl KK 3bet pot. 5nl KK 3bet pot.

Villains were TAGish players over 29 hands (original raiser 22.17.100 and the 3better was 10.7.50). I had no reads on villains apart from they were standard ABC type players, and no need to think they would be bluffing. I elected to flat KK on the button to see if they original raiser shoves over the top, to disguise the strength of my hand and to play KK in position. The villain who 3 bet had a 3bet % 0.

When the early position flats a 3bet I would put him on a strong hand. Possibly AA-JJ, with suited broadway cards. On the flop I get check raised from the original raiser and I lay down my cards. I thought I was possibly ahead, but at the same time I'm kind of deep and it's a marginal situation. I think if I was going to fold to a shove or a raise I shouldn't have called in the 1st place.

Thank you 2 plus 2!!!!!!

Don't flat KK at 5nl raise it up again. Much easier to play this way than flatting and getting yourself in tricky spots post flop like this. I don't like flatting flop it seems like you don't have a plan for the hand. When you flat pre you are knowingly taking a flop with most likely the best hand so which types of flops do you want to see that you will happily stack off on? Villains are probably stacking off with all over pairs, diamond draws, A9 A8 A7 A6 A5 etc and you have good equity vs this range. So as played I would be looking to raise the flop and get it in. Really really don't like flatting though so many turn cards that make you hate life and not to mention you've already put in 60bbs.

    4 bet pre.

Given how deep the CO & MP are, the MP can probably flat with any two cards after you call.

u guys are deep so keep raising preflop, cause itll be harder to get stacks in and theyll call the 4bet with a wider than normal range. also i imagine 5nl guys have trouble letting go of 'good' hands.

u set a trap and are in an overpair war on the flop. gl dont fold.
