I know it was a mistake limping and letting the BB in with T7o, but i was wondering how other people would play this post flop.
I played less than 20 hands at the table and the only hand that he went to showdown with was when he called an all in with KQo when the flop was 747

The mistake is playing the hand from that position in the first place, let alone limping it. Once you are in that position, you played it fine except calling the river raise. Run a filter for hands where you called a river raise and see how often TP was good.

As played, just fold to the raise on the river. Sure, minraise, great odds, whatever, but randoms almost never bluffraise rivers in limp pots. It's T7o this time, but next time it'll be an 8 on the 4straight board, and the next time it'll be a runner runner flush.

Raise or fold pre, most likely fold. Flatting flop is fine IP. Turn is fine but i C/C river as B/C is paying him off.
