This is a spot I struggle in, and is why being OOP really sucks. Here I flop a decent draw on a not hugely wet board, and if I didn't get raised I'd happily double-barrel this. But when I get raised should I 3bet semi-bluff and hope I still have some FE, call and hope to catch, or just give up?

The villain in this hand was playing 25/16 with a high AF of 9, but only over a small sample of 45 hands.

BTN: $5.79
SB: $6.65
BB: $3.63
UTG: $2.72
MP: $5.13
Hero (CO): $6.11

Pre Flop: ($0.07) Hero is CO with 9 T
UTG calls $0.05, 1 fold, Hero raises to $0.25, BTN calls $0.25, 3 folds

Flop: ($0.62) 8 J A (2 players)
Hero bets $0.40, BTN raises to $1, Hero?

BTN isn't folding and is likely to stack-off if we hit. I'd call and check the turn. If we hit, c/r all in, if we missed I'd re-eval and maybe call if he makes some tiny bet (which is always a possibility with these guys).

If we shove we rep like AK/JJ but I doubt he really cares. He most likely has Ax and is never folding it. Against a weak-ish reg I'd consider shoving. That might be the case here but I don't really give a villain credit for being able to lay down any hand in his range that raises that flop.

getting like ~3.4:1 i call even though we are not getting the right price to draw if we add in some implied odds a call is fine and we might even get to see the river for free also.

I dont like shoving because i don't think we have any FE
