Hi guys,

I have been thinking about this hand but I cannot put the villain on a range or specific hand...

Did my play make sense or... ?

    You really cannot fold for that price.

    My thought process after I posted this:

    After his check/raise on the flop, I narrow his range to:

    {99,77,AQs,KhQh,JTs,T8s,86s,JTo,T8o,86o}

    I pokerstove'd it and my equity is 65 percent against this exact range. In this hand, I am getting 2,2 : 1 to call the raise so folding is out of the picture.

    He leads the river into me giving me 3:1 to call + I do have position. Now that I am writing this, I did not think like this during the hand. I almost snap-folded here but when I check the equities against his range defined above, the turn card doesn't change anything. I still have 50 percent equity against this range which means that this would be an easy call, right guys ?

    And folding to a blank river when he shows aggression for sure, but what do you do against a check ? I expect him to check his non-paired hands and missed flush draws, but the question now is: would he fold his weak 1 pair hands and top pair hands ? I expect him to fold his weak top pair hands and missed flush draws for sure, but let's say that he would call KhQh which could definitely be in his range. Is it still an easy bet on the river when checked to us ?

    What do you think ?

    You should exclude T8o, 86o from his range because he'd fold them pre, and maybe even JTo.
    Call turn/evaluate river.

    call turn
    you dont have to bet river wct, villain is likely to have a lot of fds/oesds/gs

    I don't think you have the correct odds to chase a flush here.

    Right.

    I think I still have the correct odds, given that he might do that with even some weaker hands from time to time.

    We're getting 7 to 1 implied odds just to hit our flush and only need 5 to 1. Sometimes an ace on the river may win it for us too. There's no way I'm folding turn.

    Apologies if I screwed up the odds. I think its correct, though, but I'm not the biggest math guy.
