5NL AQ = TPTK, can I value bet the river? 5NL AQ = TPTK, can I value bet the river?

Villain was running 44/16 with an AF of infinity over 25 hands. Never tried to steal, nobody tried to steal from him over the small sample. I figured when he checked the river he was either going for a c/r with the nuts or didn't have anything and wouldn't ever call.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.05 BB (8 handed) -
UTG ($5.31)
UTG+1 ($5)
MP1 ($7.52)
MP2 ($5.55)
Hero (CO) ($5.55)
Button ($5)
SB ($4.96)
BB ($2.83)

Preflop: Hero is CO with A, Q
2 folds, MP1 bets $0.12, 1 fold, Hero calls $0.12, 2 folds, BB calls $0.07

Flop: ($0.38) 4, Q, 3 (3 players)
BB checks, MP1 bets $0.22, Hero calls $0.22, 1 fold

Turn: ($0.82) 5 (2 players)
MP1 bets $0.49, Hero calls $0.49

River: ($1.80) 7 (2 players)
MP1 checks, Hero ???

Total pot: $1.80 | Rake: $0.12

Anybody have a similar hand at 5/10NL where a similar villain paid off a river bet on a flush/straight board with worse than TPTK?

Why?

He could very easily have top pair or an overpair here. The board has run out like ****, the flush got there and there's 4 to a straight. Even a fish will struggle to over-value a one pair hand here.

I suck at slim value and would just check behind.

Why? Because I just don't see what a 16% PFR range bets two streets and then check/calls this river with that I beat.

Sure, he can have overcards 1/16 times, but then I'm bluffing, not value betting.

Tricky..problem here is that fishy villains don't really get thin value, so I'd expect a small bet to be raised enough times to be a problem here, sometimes with a worse hand, sometimes with better. I'd be checking here, on such a wet board I don't think not getting a third street of value is a problem.

I like a vb against this loose player type. I can see villain calling with a lot of middle pocket pairs and ofc lesser Qs. I doubt you'll get raised as it would be a super bizarre line on villain's part.

You don't think 56s or Ax of spades or any set or blah blah random hand that beats me might go for a check raise on the river to try to play for stacks instead of just a ~25bb valuebet?

Anyway I guess I'll post the results now, since this has probably gotten all the replies it's going to get:

Full Tilt, $0.02/$0.05 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 8 Players
    River: ($1.80) 7 (2 players)
    MP2 checks, Hero checks

    Results: $1.80 pot ($0.12 rake)
    Final Board: 4 Q 3 5 7
    MP2 showed 9 8 and lost (-$0.83 net)
    Hero showed A Q and won $1.68 ($0.85 net)

So apparently there are villains out there who double barrel air and give up when all the draws come in.

I don't think there are many 6s in his range and besides, sets and straights wouldn't c/r this river.

ATM I don't think many villains are c/ring with a flush here either b/c it misses value against most ppl.
