Villain is 62/20/5.5 over 270 hands. Villain stabbed at every pot so far: raised pots, 3bet pots, limped pots. He donked oop or bet when checked to him.

CO: $8.48
BTN: $8.68
SB: $9.13
BB: $3.63
UTG: $11.00
Hero (MP): $6.35

Pre Flop: ($0.07) Hero is MP with A K
UTG raises to $0.10, Hero raises to $0.30, 4 folds, UTG calls $0.20

Flop: ($0.67) 9 6 Q (2 players)
UTG bets $0.25, Hero ???

Standard fold ? Or is there any merit in raising here? What if I had the A?

Rise more pre- ,maybe just .40 but you could go for .45-.50. He's so loose and you've got AK. He's going to call with dominated hands so often and then stack off.

Also, if there's a 62/20/5.5 in the game w/ 200bb, you should buy in for 200bb...

As played, I'd fold. Unless you are 100% accurate that he will be donking EVERY pot here, in which case maybe you could float the flop and hope to hit an A or a K on the turn, but every so often he's getting you with reverse implied odds if he's holding KQ or AQ meaning your outs are not clean.

And I'd say you holding the Ah here (without another h) makes it more of a fold, because he can't really be donking into you with a flush draw.

If you feel comfortable playing against a wide, aggressively played range, then calling here is the best play. If he really does bet with his whole range in this spot, you rate to have the best hand, and you can extract a lot if a non heart K or A falls later.

That being said, this guy is obviously terrible, and there's nothing wrong with waiting for a better hand than AK high to get heavily involved.

3bet bigger for maximum value.

I'd call flop this guy is a nutter, and I'd be happy to do so because I'd have reads on his barelling tendencies and such given that I've seen him play ~170 hands.

I fold on the flop. Also, your pre-flop raise needs to be stronger.

i dont really raise these much on such coordinated boards without good equity, bc you'll just get snapped a ton. when the board is less drawy or harder to hit in general, i'll mix it up between raising, calling to raise turn, and just folding.

There was one of these guys at my table today - was like 80/20, donked constantly. Here is a similar situation:

Poker Stars $0.10/$0.25 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

SB: $52.65
BB: $26.40
UTG: $27.80
MP: $25.00
Hero (CO): $48.40
BTN: $24.00

Pre Flop: ($0.35) Hero is CO with K A
2 folds, Hero raises to $1, 1 fold, SB calls $0.90, 1 fold

Flop: ($2.25) T 5 2 (2 players)
SB bets $0.75, Hero calls $0.75

Turn: ($3.75) Q (2 players)
SB bets $0.75, Hero calls $0.75

River: ($5.25) 4 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks

Final Pot: $5.25
SB shows 8 J (high card Queen)
Hero shows K A (high card Ace)
Hero wins $5.00
(Rake: $0.25)

It makes my head hurt playing against these guys.

Your villain was horrible. If I were villain... and I do this a lot... I would have put a serious barrel into you on the flop. Presuming you missed. He only put 75c into you. WAY too small. I'd probably have bet $2 into you.

His betting was a dead giveaway there. Good job calling him down.

You are of course floating here. We are paying relatively small to see a turncard and we are in position (in terms of pot odds this is a bad call but pot odds are so last year). I cant see us getting reversed pot odds here? If we do turn our A or K we can pretty much stack this guy off 'cause he's so insanely bad. I'd go as far to say we get implied pot odds. Anyone?
