Villain is unknown which makes plays like these prob unnecessary . Since I did anyway how about my pre/post flop play in general?
If this is bad readless what if we were up against a typical TAG at these stakes?

Pre: Since most of them open any Ax bvb I tend to 3bet the ones with the lower kickers. Should this be a flat instead? Which Ax (suited/offsuit) are you flatting/3betting bvb?

Post: Being in a 3bet pot, do you play any streets differently? His range by the R (that x/c F&T) will have a hard time calling since I rep super strong. I prob rely on him being able to fold KQ at this point. I block AK (prob 4betting pre, but still possible), fold out some Jx/weak Kx that are still around and even some better draws (AQdd,...).

I'd flat pre. As played X back turn, whatever C OTF will C OTT. Even if I had Qs2s i'd X back turn and hope to still have showdown value lol

As played pre and otf, I would barrel through on this run out. You can blow him off KT, Jx, random 5xdd/6xdd and Axdd otr. You have zero sdv imo.

It's fine to check down AQ in this spot vs passive and/or honest villains.

Anyone who thinks he can barrel a 5NL player off of TP doesn't play 5NL.

Imo, we're better off checking the F straight away if we're not going to barrel this T. 1&done seems kinda bad on this board?

I actually feel this line is ok vs a reg (we have some equity with BDFD otf & pick up more ott whilst also not blocking diamonds), but:

I don't see how we can rely on him to fold anything when he could be anything from a solid reg to a drooling donkey. Prefer this when we have at least some info on villain personally.

Agree, prob not that great vs unknowns at 5NL overall.

You play 5NL, right? What would you do w/ KQ vs unknown here?

You mean if I was in villain's shoes vs hero's 3bet & 3 barrels? With KQ we are only beating a bluff as even KJ got there.

My decision would of course depend on my opponent & any reads I had but river would be a tough decision with KQ, which is why I think the line may be ok if we knew anything about our opponent. This is rarely a bluff at 5NL which regs know which is why they may fold to the river bet.
