So, I want to discuss this hand and gain a better understanding for this spot in particular. I misplayed this hand something awful, but I think there is alot to be learned from this scenario and how to play other parts of our range in this spot.

first of all, flop should be a fold to such a large raise. If he makes it smaller, than we can peel. On the turn, I think jamming is probably the best play. He isnt folding a straight, and our hand is very vulnerable to spades and we can get value now. Again, as played, I think I should just call the river because it doesnt make sense for him to continue on the turn w w set/Q8 two pair so he should have alot of T9 in his range. I think this is pretty accurate.

The part I am questioning is what about against a better player? When we get C/R(lets say to 6.5 or so) we are getting decent odds to peel. But it seems like against a better player, we will have alot of RIO if he is C/Ring a FD and we will be seeing alot of action on blank turns when he has a monster. I suppose in that case, we can just fold blanks/call when we hit/bet when we hit and he checks.

against a solid player(assuming we call the flop and hit our flush), should we be flatting on the turn to keep is range wider allowing us to call a river bet/bet on the river when check too, or should we just put in a raise since our hand is still somewhat vulnerable. Maybe a bit of both? Against a player with a range of FD/monsters here, it seems like we should just fold the flop.(even vs a smaller C/R size)

If you're going to fold when you bink just fold the flop. Don't see a full house beating you if he didn't open pre. Could be bigger flush or just 9x with a pair making a play and backing into a straight.

Imo no one is check raise bluffing this spot without enough equity to continue so vs good players who will cr a high frequency just check back flop.
