So I tried to squeeze here and it failed, however Villain's line left me baffled and wondering what's going on, did he just slowplay AA to attempt to trap the original raiser post-flop?? or did he realize that I was squeezing and made a move on me? I dont get why a player with such nitty stats would just flat call the original raise who also happens to be a tight player and then reshove to a squeeze without a monster like AA,KK, but at the same time I dont know why he would give the original raiser a chance to outdraw him on the flop, usually tight players would try to protect their pocket pairs instead of making high variance plays like that.

Either way I am confused, thoughts?

last night i had a quite similar hand, and villian had AQo.
i think i call here (i expect AA,KK,AK to 3bet and not slowplay oop) and hope to see something like AJ, but guess it will be a medium pair against we are flipping, what is ok with the money already in.
dont know if this is a good range here, but even so i get even odds (i would almost rule out AA, QQ and AK)

So here is my main question.

Am I supposed/forced to be calling in this spot even if I know for sure that his range range is 77-JJ? What if there's any doubts in my mind that this could be a trap?

The reason why I ask is because I've been going through a downswing lately and I wasn't sure if I wanted to take a chance here and flip against a 'possible underpair', but I really want to know if it's a chance I should be taking since I was the one who brought the situation upon me. Against a 30/20 I would be snap calling all day everyday but against a player with this stats I felt like I could possibly be getting trapped.

Anyways main question is: Is this a forced call? or is it okay to fold in this spot if someone doesn't want to be flipping?
