Has villain been bluffing at all? Also, how was he playing vs your 3bets? How often were you 3betting? If you have no read, then I say fold river.

As for your line. I think you can bet a little more on the flop like $8. The c/c on the turn is not bad if you think villain will never be bluffing river after the c/c, so you can c/f with confidence on the river. If you think villain is gonna bluff the turn and river a lot then you can c/c turn and river, but I need a really great read for this play. If you're not confident about the correct play on the river, when you c/c the turn, then I would fold turn.

This is actually a rough spot.

I have a feeling if hes bluffing the turn hes going to bluff the river though.

If I call turn I usually call rivers.

I also usually bet the turn, makes the hand easier to play.

tough spot but can't really tell ya anything without knowing the 3b ranges... how many 7's could he have, could he be shoving for value with a 2p or better ... I think if its early in the match I kinda wanna bet flop bigger c/c turn and this is one of these spots where for me its almost a guess

I would call most rivers if I'm sitting against a tag that I know plays marginal hands with a low ft3bet and calls a lot of flop cbets to see what kind of hand he called my 3bet with and why hes bombing river like that... I think when a player doesn't fold 3bets and calls a lot a cbets on flop hes gonna be floating with marginal hands draws air

If its against an unknown I would just be nitty and fold

I would bet/fold half pot on turn readless.

b/f turn and c/f river would be my std

when you check turn you should be c/f

Id make my decision on turn.

I think given heros read, c/f turn is really not that bad because if villain is at all aggro he is shipping this river a lot of the times!

I would have bet larger on the flop to around 7.50. It is a draw heavy board & not many cards that come are going to improve your hand. I would have fired out the turn as well... probably around a 1/2 pot sized bet. Checking the turn looks like your giving up your hand to a fishy player. I would check fold the river though.

Cheers,

Dave

it was early in the match so i didnt have many reads other than he didnt seem to limp every hand or anything like that. on the river i didnt think he was capable of valuebetting anything else than 7x so his range should be really polarized?

Hi guyz, im new to HU (my first post on this forum) but...
He could have 45, 65, 87, 67 SC's that call the flop, bet for value on the turn and river right?
After c/c turn ur hand is kinda face-up as an overpair so i'd assume he would be VB-ing 2 pairs OTR as imo they should be viewed as nuts.

I really dont see what we beat other then like KQdd.
