It's pretty standard for players to min raise a dry flop IP at rush with any random pair to try and see where they are and they try to take the pot down on the turn.

A lot of time if you 3bet the flop or call the flop and lead the turn they will fold or just call and check down if they think they have showdown value.

Obviously if you encounter any more resistance you need to bail.
