Villan here is 28/0/.6 over 30 hands- not much to go by.

I am out of position with KK and get called by our guy. The flop comes and I have an over pair and cb. Get called. I think he might be on a draw, have AQ, AJ, JQ or hit his set. The turn comes a 5 which is not scary to me so I bet again for value. Get called. The river comes an A and I check for pot control because I think the things calling me have me beat. Then he bets out- do I call this or fold?

With his low aggression I could have checked the turn for pot control and called a river bet. But I feel like I need to bet and get value out of people that are going to call with JK, KQ, AQ, AJ or call again for their straight draw. The turn in this case just put me in a tough situation. But I don't think he's putting the rest of his stack in with KQ or 9 10.

Can't find many hands you're still ahead of here.

The A is such a gross card and this is such a gross spot. I can't decide if c/f is the best line, or if throwing out at a gay 1/4 pot bet and folding to a shove is good. Tbh, I probably c/f here.

By the way OP, never chk that turn for pot control.

I meant to say "river" in my last paragraph. The river was bad for me. And I agree that I am behind most hands and I end up folding.

But what if the river was a blank, and I still checked for pot control and he still put the rest of his stack in. Would I call that? I think someone with AQ might put the rest of his stack in since it's less than a pot size bet, but I don't have much for stats on him. Or would I just bet to put him all in because I have some fold equity on missed draws get value from KQ, AQ, AJ and he wasn't full stacked?

If the river is a non-A you don't check the river, but instead lead out and put him all-in because he has less than a PSB left.
