Hi all - I had this hand the other day and would like some feedback please. I am not sure the best way to play this. Villan seems pretty taggy after 50 hands and is running at 18/16/7 with a 3bet of 4%. Should i be folding to the 4bet preflop and assume he would only have aa,kk, ak?

Basically from the cutoff his range is about as wide as it gets besides the button. So your stats are good for a general idea of this player but are not definitive. However, his range to stack off is likely pretty stout, which is what he is saying he wants to do with his 4bet. Don't call. Fold or shove, preferably fold.

Now you can also ad some dynamic where if you had been 3 betting or squeezing a lot then this is auto stack off.

Shove pre because calling shrinks your penis.

keep in mind hero is RR'ing from a very obvious sqz spot. additionally, he made a smallish RR, offering our enemy the opportunity to make a slightly cheaper bluff, if he is so inclined.

TT-AA, AQ+, which in itself is enough to make it an obvious shove. toss in some amount of bluffs and its even more clear cut.

Happens all the time.

Spoiler:
Being serious for once responding to aznboi

My edge comes from playing post flop, not in a 3-bet pot with a small SPR

This. I may even include AJs, 88+ & AQo+ since it looks like a resteal from us. I'd never call here especially if your not going to stack off on a flop like that. All your calling for is set value if your not stacking off here and calling a 4bet is just spew.
