Wondering how I can play this hand better given my read that the villain floats a lot of flops and bets turns with draws. Should I x/c turn x/f river?

(Note: was playing HUD-less at the time)

    Preflop is fine.

Flop sizing seems a tad big. Could probably go $2.75 and accomplish the same goal.

I just c/c the turn here. I see very little value or reason in raising it. We are probably ahead of his turn betting range (which may not even be true), but we are very unlikely to be ahead of his turn b/c range.

We get a very foldable river. I think you can just call the turn bet and be pretty happy. We are just bluff catching at this point.

This makes sense to me, though it usually occurs to me after a hand is already played. At the turn my thought process was that a check would induce a bluff, which would likely have to fold its equity against a checkraise.

Looking back I definitely think a x/c would be better though.

would like to add i think his range can be really strong in this spot too he seems like a reg and is trying to keep the fish in i could see him flatting a ton of his premium hands

how does he seem like a reg based on what's been given? and why would regs flat premium hands and not bet them for value?

I'm assuming we raised turn to charge draws which he can float the flop with. But he can also float with air, QK, KT and 2 pair + hands. Therefore turn we can check call but I'd also be check calling river quite a bit.

Yeah, don't like the C/R much on turn given we actually have a hand now but have two flush draws out there that he may still call the C/R with.

Think I x/C the turn and villain dependant may well x/C the river as well. Other times C/F, as we would be bluff catching, and it does look like he wants a call in this case.

Sick turn XMR, clearly worst option.

he was over 100bb so im just guessing but i think good regs flat there often to keep the fish in the hand if he raises there it will make the fish fold more often

i think its a better spot to bluff and flat premiums until the reg catches on
