I've mostly been playing full ring, but I've been transitioning some of my action to 6m.
At FR I do a decent amount of starting tables and I'm usually comfortable playing HU and Short Handed situations.

villain is running 17/12 over ~70 hands. 3bet of 8.7% over same sample. given that he's 3betting a good deal, would we remove QQ from his range?
I have played with this villain a good deal at FR, and he is definitely capable of having SC's here some amount of the time (he's flatted my EP raises with SC's in the blinds before)

A similar spot happened to me today and I let it go. Better spots to get my chips in.

Just let it go...you'll just burn money cos you'll end up check/folding turn unimproved

i'd c/c that flop. hard to get much value. lots of terrible turn cards so i presume u'll be c/f'ing lots if he calls the flop. betting opens us up to getting bluff raised. in spots like this the value from letting him stab at it is high.

Let it go - you're either winning a little bit or losing a lot.

the problem is when he have KK here it makes it a little more difficult to get value

(i.e. KJ/KQ/KT less likely) so we're really targeting QJ/TJ and like K9s,78s,89s, and theres no guarantee that all combos of these hands are in his calling range to an utg open. in fact they're likely not.

i'd honestly not lose too much sleep c/f the flop, but i guess b/f is fine. i really hate c/c because i don't think this flop gets bluffed very often when we check as pfr without the guy intending to fire at least twice
