Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $0.50(BB) Replayer
SB ($48.75)
BB ($10)
UTG ($24.25)
UTG+1 ($86.92)
Hero ($59.50)
BTN ($49.05)

Dealt to Hero J J

fold, fold, Hero raises to $1.50, BTN raises to $5.50, fold, BB raises to $10 (AI), Hero ?

BTN is 13/10/1.5 for 60 hands, BB is a shortstack 35/33 for 50 hands. What do we do here?

If it was just BB I'd probably call, but with seemingly nitty btn still to act, I'm not potentially playing for my stack in a 4 bet pot with JJ against two people. I'd fold.

Or we could raise to iso fish, think of it from the nit's view, cold 4bet and an open shove from the opener, he mucking everything but AA/KK, right? I guess what's most important is BTN's 3 bet %, if it's bigger than 6 I shove.

btn's 3 bet pecentage over only 60 hands is meaningless.

No it's not imo, I wouldn't risk my life on how accurate it is, but it's amazing how little of a sample size you need to produce accurate results.

You know if you randomly selected 500 people from the USA and ask them various questions, you would have the answers for the whole country, with only 5% error?

No. What's amazing is how BIG a sample size you need to produce accurate results.

Also you will have a more accurate read on btns 3-bet range after this hand.
