UTG is 42/18/8 in 40 hands. What to do about a HP donk here? Thanks-

SB: 105.86 BB
BB: 78.18 BB
UTG: 150 BB
MP: 68.2 BB
CO: 85.7 BB
Hero (BTN): 188.8 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has J J

UTG raises to 4 BB, MP calls 4 BB, fold, Hero raises to 17 BB, fold, fold, UTG calls 13 BB, fold

Flop: (39.5 BB, 2 players) K 6 T
UTG bets 18.76 BB, Hero?

I would call, fish tend to donk quite a linear range so there are some hands you beat like Tx. Not expecting the call to print money tho.

On second thought I think it really depends on his preflop range. 40 hands is too small of a sample to know how wide he raises from UTG. It’s possible he doesn’t even have much Tx here and that would make me lean towards folding.

Of course in that case you probably shouldn’t even be 3betting JJ preflop. Solvers actually like polarising vs EP (flatting JJ/QQ mostly and 3betting to 5-6x).

Edit: had a brain fart, 5-6x is from BB. But iirc BTN is also flatting JJ most of the time, depending on rake structure.
