Villian had been in a few pots but not enough to identify him as aggressive or tight. By the turn I had put him on AKo and I believe if the river hadn't been the case Q he would have raised the river. In hindsight I probably should have bet more on turn.
With his stack size I figured a mini-value bet was the best course of action.
I'm wondering how people would have played the river differently. 1/2 pot bet? Check and hope the villian pushes?
I seem to have a leak in getting value in these positions. When I'm most likely up and a river card scares the villian.
With his stack size I figured a value bet is the best course of action.
thanks for your time
