Full Tilt Poker $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

BTN: $62.45
Hero (SB): $91.00
BB: $50.80
UTG: $50.60
MP: $49.50
CO: $50.50

Pre Flop: Hero is SB with J J
UTG raises to $1.75, 3 folds, Hero calls $1.50, BB calls $1.25

UTG in this hand is running 19/12 over a 60 hand sample the sample is large enough that I think 3 betting here is a bad idea.

Flop: ($5.25) 8 J A (3 players)
Hero bets $4, BB folds, UTG calls $4

Ok I hit my set here and the villain didn't seem passive, so I decide to go for a bet/3 bet here. In hindsight I think that checking and then going for a c/r might be a better option. I am still not sure about this though. I would love to hear thoughts on this.

Turn: ($13.25) K (2 players)
Hero bets $8, UTG calls $8

Should have bet this larger, but still think this is a bet. Why give the Qd or the Kd a free draw. Anyone going for a c/r here?

River: ($29.25) 3 (2 players)
[color=red]Hero...

Well I am at the river now and I am not sure wtf to do. I am running ~18/15 at the time, so I wonder if my hand is now face up? If my hand is face up I don't think AK or QxQd will pay me off here, so it is better to check and let him try and bluff it?

Def bet. I think he is checking everything behind besides a flopped flush (which is pretty unlikely as played).

dude what? Why are you leading? He will cbet the flop as most regs(i assume his a reg) do. He raises 12 percent of his hands pf, which tells me when he raises, he will generalyl be continuing with the hand on the flop. So check/raise the flop, shove turn (he will have less then PSB left and if his calling your flop c/r his deff not folding the turn)

I prefer the flop lead fwiw. You can't count on a c-bet on this board all the time (he'll often give up with any kind of unimproved PP), and a free card would be pretty bad imo. Plus your relative position is poor so a c/r forces the BB out of the pot before he gets a chance to donate. If you lead and button raises you can squeeze BB's money, and button may be inclined to raise with an Ace putting you on the FD or if he has the Kc as a semibluff and you can 3bai.

bet 100% of the time...

his line makes him look like he has K of clubs. Your line is fine, fire at each street.

i would about 1/2 pot on the river, he could easily have AQ AK with a Q or K club.

Your line is correct to me.
Bet each street. Should haver bet turn more.
Bet $15 on the river, to let him reraise you with a very good ace (2 pairs).

If he's got a flush, so be it.
