i can't decide whether or not villian has 2 pair or better here. flop flat call seems scary. i put him on A9s... but 3:1 with a big ace in this spot seems like the right call. any thoughts?

Why did you check the turn?

I think the best way to play this is bet/fold the turn (Baluga Theorem), and check/call the river (to induce bluffs from worse, and to not have to worry about what happens when you get raised).
