Villain is 40/2.5/0.3 bad passive donk. A preemptive **** you to the nits who say fold preflop. It was a button steal with weak players in the blinds OK? Anyway onto the hand. I think his river check/raise range smokes me. Can I really fold this? He's never bluffing so the question is if a weak donk will check raise a King or AK here (without the bigger flush of course)?

I'm snapping and feeling pretty good about it. He has Kx pair that rivered a straight a fair amount.

-could be a worse flush (just kidding)

insta call 100BB deep, it's a cooler if he has the flush

Kx is definitely in his range

I fold this preflop, although i steal a lot.

How is a 40/x/x player a good one to steal against?
He's calling way too often.
I might do it, but folding preflop is the better choice imo.
Comments on this appreciated.

Agreed. Putting him solely on a higher flush is bad here.

I think this is an interesting hand. If the villain lead out on the river I would definitely snapcall. However, the check raise on the river to me signals that the villain thinks he has real strength compared to the hero.

What hand does the villian think that the hero has? I guess it's possible that he thinks the hero has a hand like QJ (two pair) and his straight (if he does have a straight) has the hero beat. So if the villain is as bad as the hero thinks, then I probably call, but it's very close to a fold because I don't think a good player would check raise on the river with a striaght.

if your even going to consider bet folding then bet less on the river.

Yea I didn't plan that out so well I figure I'd bet a lot since he's paying off with a K everytime. I think I like bet/call better than betting small so I can bet/fold then.

villain bet 2 streets, so donk villain thinks: "he will fire a 3rd barrel, and i can c/r him"

folding a 2-flush for 100BB is weak imo, especially on that board.
