Villain is 40/10 in 10 hands. Don't know anything about him. I think I played it badly on all streets. Should have made a cbet and bet bigger on the Turn. Eventually I just get lost and shove which was probably incorrect, even though villain is shortstacked. Would appreciate any insight.

There's really no question here. You foolishly tried to slowplay on a very wet board, you got burned when someone spiked his straight. You would have lost your stack to MP1's KQ on this particular hand no matter what you did--he's bad, so he'd have called your cbet then made the straight--and I suppose that's the condolence you want, but the essence of poker is selling the next card for the highest price you can get away with when you're holding the best hand. Not c-betting is a HORRIBLY -EV play here.

Why? Because of what happens when he DOESN'T make his straight--bad players are willing to pay far too much to chase their draws. You lose probably $10 worth of value by letting him see the turn card free. Say it bricks, then you bet $3.50 and he calls, then the river bricks; the $3.50 is all you get out of him. Had you bet $3.50 on the flop, you could have extracted another $7 or $8 out of him on the turn, probably, since, again, he's bad.

I would say yes badly played, but not because of no cbet because you didn't value bet the flop. That flop is wet, but you are ahead majority of the time here. I would fire 5 bucks in there if MP1moves in I think you can call him, but if MP2 decides to repop and make this hand big I may consider the fold there depending on his raise.

As played I don't really mind the turn shove, but you are in such an akward spot that it is rough to say which is right without any kind of read on villian.

You absolutely have to bet/fold this flop imo.

I personally like a 4x - 4.5xbb raise pf UTG with AA/KK, but it's just stylistic. With one caller to a 3x - 3.5x bet, the BB is nearly always priced in, and I hate playing high pp's against more than 1 villain OOP.

But anyway, as played, never ever check this flop.
