Villian is weak/bad only like 15-20 hands in thus far.

Whats the best line to take call and evaluate River or fold this on the turn?

Full Tilt Poker, $0.25/$0.50 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 2 Players
LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter

SB: $58.10
Hero (BB): $55.05

Pre-Flop: 8 8 dealt to Hero (BB)
SB raises to $1, Hero raises to $3, SB calls $2

Flop: ($6) 5 2 9 (2 Players)
Hero bets $4, SB calls $4

Turn: ($14) 5 (2 Players)
Hero bets $6, SB raises to $12 Hero??

Fold, any draw he'd raise on the turn he would have raised on the flop and given your percieved range for barrelling a blank turn, its not a great spot for him to bluff raise. I think he has a 5 a very large % of the time here. 99 also seems likely, idk maybe A9?

Anyway, yeah fold quickly.

bet bigger on the turn and it will make these spots much easier.

Raise bigger pre more on turn or check call.

I actually prefer check call because there isn't much that you can represent that's strong, but his range is weak too.

It's much harder to play check call there though so betting 10 or so is probably better until you get more reads

I don't like betting the turn w/the intention of folding
