Brand new to HU cash so I'm interested how you veterans play these types of hands. A little background: Villain is almost certainly tilting. He has 3 bet me probably 5 out of the last 8 times I've raised, and every one of them as well as 3 bets before he started tilting has been to 4.5, not 4.00 as he makes this one, if it matters at all. He's 35/15 w/ an overall AF of 1.35.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (2 handed) Full Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

BB ($51.60)
Hero ($121.85)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 7, 7.
Hero raises to $1.75, BB raises to $4.5, Hero calls $2.50.

Flop: ($8.75) 2, 9, 9 (2 players)
BB bets $7, Hero?

if you call you basically have to be willing to call three barrels here, because that's what you're going to get.

I agree with you guys. I think that this guy is firing flop and turn, and possibly river, mostly when he has it and even some when he doesn't, all of which we probably have to fold to. I elected to just fold it, as you probably deduced, but I was curious about everyone else's line here because I find myself in these spots all the time and I'm clueless. I tend to call down aggro guys and just give it up to passives, but I'm not sure that line is optimal. Any other input is greatly appreciated.

I would be calling 2 streets and folding the river fwiw.

if he is tilting i make it 16 on the flop and call a shove.

yeah raise that shiz up. the point of calling hands like this is to give him rope to hang himself, but then not many people here seem happy to let him 3barrel himself to death. if you are not happy to do that, then raise. not least because he is probably spaz shoving you with any 2 overcards.

I'm raising small to induce too.

If he wasn't tilting calling flop and reevaluating future streets might be a better option. Never fold the flop though, this is one of the best flops you can get without flopping a set, and vs a light 3bettor calling pf and folding this flop is burning money.

i would either call and if a blank comes on the turn i make a substantial raise

OR

i make it 18 on the fkop and fold to a shove as ur a flip neway with 2 overs and a flush draw which is most likely his range

I'm calling flop and turn.
Since your hand, by doing so, looks like what it is. I would fold river if you think he knows that. If his tiltfactor is high enough im calling anyway though.

In the 2nd second scenario, his most likely hand when he shoves is a lot wider than 2OCs+4F, especially vs a tilter. If you are making a small raise on the flop, I think it should be with the intention of calling a tilty bluff shove, as others have suggested. This is my preferred line. Also, I think folding here would be horrible given how wide our opponents 3B range is.

against this guy as you explained him, i would make it 20 on the flop and call a shove and try to dodge 6 outs.
