I don't have a hand history for this and I don't know how to convert without one.

50NL 6max
Against relative unknowns
100bb effective stacks

3 folds,
BTN open $1.50
SB (hero) calls $1.50 w/ TT
BB sqz to $6.25
BTN folds
SB (hero) calls $5.00

Flop: 245r
SB (Hero) checks.
BB bets $6.50
Hero ??

What is the threshold for hero to stack this flop? What are the merits of check/raising and then calling off a shove vs check/calling?

I would 3b TT half the time in the sb facing a bu raise. If I flat I'd consider 4b shipping over the 3b squeeze for a known squeezer, although TT is at the bottom of my range of flat/shipping.

merits of check/raising over c/c is that he must pay to draw to overcards and you get a better idea of where your opponent is at. check/shipping may induce him to call w/ weaker pp's. however you invest more into the pot and could commit yourself now no matter what. The c/c line allows him to dictate how much he wants to pay. Merits of the c/c line is that it does keep in his air and keeps the the pot smaller.

Against a complete unknown I may c/c here until I got better stats, but with his half psb bet here I'd prefer to check/ship and cry if he has an overpair or a donkey AK the hits. Kinda depends on the image you want to put out for yourself imo. I like the wild aggressive one, but player dependent.

I think check raising small (to give the deception that we can fold to a shove) and then calling it off is generally better than check/shoving. check/shoving doesn't leave any room for villain to spazz out w/ air. If I check/raise this flop w/ TT, I am definately calling it off. I don't know if that's bad or not?
Check/calling seems too weak because we are OOP and are unsure which of the scare cards beat us or are just scare cards.

I dunno, I fold pre after the squeeze.

Folding pre has it's merits but if the squeezer is habitual or particularly agressive, I'd call pre, call this flop Cbet and prob wouldn't fold!

It's really about the type of player the squeezer is because your range is pretty transparent! If he is aggro I'd call him down as he's likely to try bluff you off it or sometimes value bet lesser! If he's a nit I might fold pre or else call one street now and fold the turn!
