I think the guy is like 50/3/3 or something. So classic kinda ******ed fish. He near snap called the flop. snap checked back the turn, and bet the river very quickly.

(Just speculating a little)

What are you hoping to get him to fold on the flop? On the river you're facing an 80% pot bet basically hoping to split, so I think it's an easy fold.

so the situation is I'm cbetting the flop because my hand isn't strong enough to check/call down, so it's basically a straight cbet to win the pot. Seems like the most standard cbet every tbh and I have a hard time quantifying y i wouldn't. His range is huge,he folds enough for it to be profitable+I have a gutshot.

On the river pairs under jacks are counterfeited. The guy isn't good enough/******ed enough to valuebet Kx. So it isn't a split at best. He probably valuebets his Ax hands and bluffs his TT and lower pairs he peeled with plus any gutshot draws that don't have showdown (like QT specifically).

I don't know, it just seems strange to bet when you will only get called by better. He can't hold a better hand and fold, and he most likely won't call with worse. But I might be wrong on this.

22-55 might fold, and I have a fair share of equity on this. More importantly there's 3 streets left to play and I'm out of position. Getting him to fold his equity share with hands like t9/98/etc. has quite a bit of value. Like suppose he holds a hand such as 98. Well assuming hes willing to check it down with me, I'll lose 22% more often because that's his equity on the flop. It seems like it would be significantly easier to just outplay him on the flop by forcing him to fold his 22% equity share of this pot than start checking it down hoping to snap off bluffs while not getting valuetowned at the same time.

I think this could be interesting..

I'd love to see a call and ship it with the King high, sadly I can see a J9s in this guys hand - saying that I can see ALOT in this guys hand..

QT KT any PP.. but @ NL50 I don't think he is capable of a bluff on this board.

I would get stubborn and call if this was like the 7th time he has made a bet like this and you've caught him before or have seen him show down air, however, it is pretty close.

As they say 'There's no shame in folding..' :P

Are you saying this with your read in mind? Because it sounds to me like this guy never folds anything.
