Looks super standard, I might bet a little more on the flop (8ish since it's a bit drawy, and to allow me to get it in sooner), but otherwise I'm taking the same line.

am i the only one not seeing this as "super standard"
I think the flop bet should be closer to a psb and skip the turn c/r and fire out another 3/4 pot bet... The flop min raise could be a result of hero's weak bet, villain's testing hero for AK, villain flush draw, or in the rare case, a set... Even if villain had a set, he wouldn't always c/r.

I agree with you to a certain extent, but your taking away the chance for the guy who minraises with FDs to bluff when he misses on the turn. This line is to get your stack in against someone who's willing to fire two barrels with a draw or weaker pair.

the flop is the time to get it in. you dont want to see like the 8s come off and kill your action, just get it in on the flop.

jam the flop. his range is much more weighted towards overpairs than towards draws, and when a scarecard comes on the turn its gonna be hard for you to extract from those overpairs

thx for the replies. Looking back on the hand, I really think the flop bet should be bigger (like $8.00ish) and 3 bet the flop. If he has an overpair to the board its getting in, possibly folds out drawing hand.

villian ended up playing around 58/14 for the next 100 hands. and stacked me with 55 for the set here. Got it back later though.
