Vilain is 23/15/3 over 30 hands.

Villain has been very aggro during this sesh and I opted to raise with my
draw on the flop.

I decided to check behind on turn as a lot of draws got there and I didn't wanna check raised off my hand.

On the river, he leads out strong..... wtf?

What do you beat? I can't think of anything except 89. He's unlikely to be value betting worse than a pair of kings here. It looks like he made his flush on the turn and was trying a check raise on the turn. You have to fold.

I'm also not too keen on the flop raise as there's a ton of hands he can continue with and you may get priced out if he decides to 3bet-shove a fd or tp.

I think you played this hand well if you call the river. Your turn check induces alot of bluffs. The checkbehind on the turn is good for pot control. NH

I call the river and I also like the check on the turn for pot control reasons. AJ seems like a likely hand for him?

call river, well played

he turns up here with a bluff often, sometimes a value bet with a Jx type hand.

I think you made the hand more difficult with your flop raise. There's a lot of draws there besides the one you have and there's a lot of scare cards (for both of you.) It would be great if you took the hand but you also risk him reraising in which case you likely have to fold.

By checking the turn it looks like you're saying you were afraid of the flush inviting him to steal. (that's not to say he can't have a flush/straight here but still) I prefer to bet/fold the turn. If he calls your turn bet, check behind on the river and definitely fold to a bet.

As played... you may have induced a bluff but one pair is also a pretty minor hand on that board. I fold.

I don't like the flop raise, it's a heavy drawing board and it's only 6$ more for him with 16$ already in the pot so you aren't gonna make him fold often, plus you can be reraised and be done with the hand or find yourself in a tough spot if a hearth completes your straight on turn and there's that much money in the pot.

I'd fold to his river bet, lot of hand have you beaten there.

can we come up with a range of hands that this guy is raising UTG first of all then b/c flop with then firing river with here?

like 99 and maybe like AJ and another KQ/89s bluffing are like the only hands that make much sense that you beat?

anyone think turn card is pretty good one to double barrel?
