So unfortunately, my HEM was busted so I had to play without it for the day, but at this point we had been playing probably for about 45 min. or so and I had a pretty good idea of how this guy played. He was pretty aggressive on pretty much all streets, cbetting at least 85% of the time, almost always followed by a barrel on the turn. I had seen a lot of bluffs if I had followed my top pairs/two pairs to the river on really wet boards. he would be showing a lot of T2's K6's etc, so I feel like this is a decent play on my part.

what are you asking?

i think 3-betting or folding or calling are all options pre, pretty insignificant. in general i prefer 3-betting.

we have tp, can't fold flop!

we have tp, can't fold turn!

we have 2-pair, can't fold river! raising is a possibility...

Anything but folding pre is fine. Post is totally standard. Just call river obviously.

Yeah I'm still fairly new to hunl so I'm just wanting to make sure I'm moving in the right direction. This is pretty standard, yes?

What about raising up to 30$?
He might look us up with TP, weak2pairs etc. cuz our line looks a bit strange, no?
Cuz to him our line looks polarized to like flush or nothing(missed draws/weak1pair-bluffs).

I'm not too sure about that because if I reraise the river and he shoves on top, it just turns into a really hard decision. I think keeping it simple as possible is the best play in this line.

I think he folds a lot if u raise the river, and his calling/shoving range to a river check-raise probably beats u.

What about making it look like u had a big club no pair by leading the river and hoping he tries to bluff-raise u?

But if he's raising on top of me at this point I cant really be calling him can I?

You are going to be ahead on the river most of the time. You said he bluffs a lot. If u lead the river, he is either going to just call(where u make the same as when u check/call) or he will raise (either for value or as a bluff). He will be raising with a bluff a lot more often than with a hand that beats u. So I would definitely call if I lead cuz he thinks I will be bluffing a lot of the time here. Whereas if I check/raise the river, he's only putting in more money when he's ahead because we look pretty darn strong.

I think this is a good play against opponents that bluff, let them put the money in and give them spots to bluff like you did. If you reraised him during the hand he would've probably ran off, just call fast with these players that will trigger them and, a fast miniraise on the river would be alright because they call that with middle pair. If you hit average you will get paid alot if you run good you will win multiple buy-ins.
