Bleh. River is definitely not an easy fold. I call and see AK 99% of the time. Although currently I'm trying to find more spots to find river folds versus tighter opponents with exploitable ranges without enough bluffs. I would normally just insta-call cause it's "standard".

If I checked the turn I'd definitely bet the river myself so it's a call.

Easy call... He's got insentive to bluff based on the fact that his calling range includes a lot more than a hand with an A in it.

Say for example that he called with 99, called the flop, easily checked the turn and bluffed the river to try to get you off KJ, a bad A (which I don't think is possible) or something else that could easily beat 99 like QQ that cbet etc...

The two 5's shouldn't make any difference and for all you know he's got AQ as well. You've got about 2,5:1 (plus the equity that you get because of him might checking) and this is in no case an easy fold. As you don't seem to have any notes on the opponent I'd actually say it's an easy call, even if you don't always win
