I feel like I'm so behind here. Every draw hit, but I'm getting 2.85-to-1 (28%) to call. Is this an appropriate spot to put out a blocker bet? Somewhere in the ballpark of $1.20 and obviously fold to jam?
As played, I think I can still call here. I could be ahead of 28% of his range, but I might be being optimistic. Villain's cold calling range is pretty narrow, which narrow down his combos.
I don't think Villain is ever bluffing here. His range is KQs [Royal Flush alert!
] (4), 98ss (1), JTs (1), AJs (3), AA (3), JJ (3), 88 (3), 55 (3). I'm beating 9 of 21 (~43%) combos in his range, which makes the call seem trivial. What do you guys think? Maybe his range is much tighter?
