Villain was aggressive. Not sure if tight or loose as this was the 9th hand of the match. Villain had 3xed every button up until this hand.

yeah, i regret being so impulsive vs an opponant that was going to give me a spot later on if I just waited for it. I guess you answered my question though of weather I should expect this to work against a hand like he had(AKo). even worse was the fact that he probably has lots of pocket pairs that he 4bets pre instead of shoving.

jam or fold pre vs 4bet - if you don't know which one you can just flat his pf raise

He means flat the initial raise, not the 4bet, and this is solid advice.

Do not jam this pre with no reads and ranges in 9 hand ur way behind. This is clear fold vs 4bet

I'd fold this unless he was really spewy. As for the stop-n-go i don't think he'll ever fold AK/AQ.

I'm prob folding this, but since this is a $5 you might as well shove, people are probably 4bet/calling or even 4bet/folding worse. I never flat here tho, you have no FE whatsoever on most flops. Also what crimson said, tightening up your 3bet range in the beginning is not bad as AJo plays well in raised pots as well and you have more room to play it postflop if you miss

JSpazz, people are not 4betting/calling or 4betting/folding worse.

Tough spot. I'd tend flat call initial raise... but at $5, I'm not sure that's how I would realistically play it.

It bothers me that he didn't shove. He's telling us he has a solid pocket pair or at least AK.

I guess a fold is best here. If he's decent you're beat for sure. If he's bad you may be ahead... but if he's bad you'll find a better spot.
