This guy has been playing quite aggressively on the conservative side, had a bigger stack previously and refilled a couple times but was keeping his stack small at this point. In comparison to what you usually find on this site he was good, b/c he wasn't a spew monkey and his bet sizes made a lot more sense. He obviously perceived me as LAG b/c thats how I've clearly been playing.

I decided to shove this because mainly b/c he raises flush draws, he stacked him self earlier with 100BBs raising a straight draw in a 3bet pot. Plus there is also only one overcard to worry about. But I'm starting to rethink this was a bad play since he folded (should I have just just c/c down?). However, villain hesitated a good bit before folding. I'm mostly trying to figure out what he was capable of folding after, only bluffs? Is he capable of folding a weak queen or 2 and 3x after raising?

I feel posting the results is relevant in this particular situation since I'm trying to figure out what he c/raised and folded to a shove after thinking about for over 3 seonds seconds with only 60 cents left?

This is always a shove as far as I am concerned.
I would consider calling if I had a hand like 9's or better.

Standard 5% rake is still very beatable if you have an edge, but on AP/UB i couldn't beat 2NL b/c the rake was something like 8%. Plus everleaf gives 40% rakeback

I don't mean to be disrespectful, but you're thinking too much. 2NL villains are clicking buttons. You are probably in the 0.01% of 2NL players who think.

And not so standard lack of rake cap. But yea, huge edge combined with RB can make up for that.

Lol yeah I was thinking about the huge description I gave vs. the type of game I was playing , I'm just trying to think about poker as critically as possible since I'm only gonna play like 6 hours a week. I was wondering if this hand worked better as a call down but I guess I risked getting sucked out on too much.

No way! This was the only opponent I've seen at this game who made any sense

at 2NL it's hard to learn the game as 98.71% of your opponents are just clicking buttons randomly. furthermore, due to rake cap, it is not profitable to grind at this stake either. i'd suggest u moving up to NL25 or 50 where the money at stake is significant enough for you to bother improving your play.

Spot me $1000 and I'll do it I won $517 from a tournament on bodog but I can't get a hold of the money since my PaylinQ says I need to wait a month before making the Payout. I don't wanna play on bodog either seeing that they don't have rakeback. Plus, I still kinda suck, so i can still learn at this stake and I'm not gambling much money.

Plus, since 98.71% of my opponents are smashing buttons, I can still profit immensely w/out a cap. The other day I ran into someone who was shoving ATC pre, which I just called with Ax hands and stacked him 3 or 4 times.

Minraise pre, hello? You're 30bbs deep.

actually you should probably limp preflop (jamming over a raise of course)

I like limp shoving too. Hell open shoving can be okay. This is entirely dependent on villain's raise vs limp range and call range pre, and I guess how willing he is to let you check down. The less aggro post the more keen you are to minraise obv.

Open push wtf?

Yeah. Remember, flop-less pots have no rake. Think it could sway it towards a shove.
