I have been c/ring a fair amount and have shown down air a few times. Villain plays v straightforward and does not vbet thin whatsover. Standard line here vs passive villain?

gross spot. i think i make my check raise on flop a bit bigger, and my turn bet full pot to avoid this situation. looks like you can make a hero fold as played. we're worried about Ax spades and AJ. man, that's a close one.

i think it's a fold. you played it fine.

(i would bet a little bigger each street when playing this deep, to avoid having to face this kind of big overbets on river... wich could become a good bluffing opportunity on the right card for a competent player with a tight image - this is not the case of this villain though)

I think the flop c/r is good, the board is super dry beyond 67 and backdoors

I think turn bet needs to be more, 130ish?

River is meh really a ****ty spot, based on read I'd have to assume this is a fold

Fold. You're kidding yourself if you think this guy is ever value betting worse here or bluffing.

The only conceivable bluff hand is 67, but 1) I think he folds that to a c/r on the flop almost every time on a 2 suited board, 2) If not then he folds on the turn, 3) I don't think he tries to make you fold after you bet half your stack on the river. I really don't think it's even close vs an uncreative opp.

I think bet sizing is fine. He's going to shove regardless if you bet 302 or 350 on the river with his made hand.

I did fold fwiw but what range do u put villain on to get to river? Next to the nuts every time? This would be pretty sick spot if you wanted to level somebody and bluff like AsX :P

Nothing wrong with the betsizing imo, river shove is like just a little larger than a minraise, hero's betsizing is perfect imo.

I think against others its tough but still a fold in MOST cases just vs this villain its a bit of an easier fold. Ive probably bet saying this is definitely a b/f and when they jam say @#$% it and call to see if i was right and i dont think ive ever shown down the best hand. This being the first one where i actually folded, wanted to see if others think it is pretty stnd as well

kinda easy fold, could be a gross spot vs better players. anyway, really few people try rep backdoor flushs and ''nobody'' would shove AJ on this river.
