Villain has been 3-betting about 24% and called 2 4bets and shoved one in which AQ> my QQ. Villain also c/r a lot in 3bet and single raised so Im assuming he c/r's a K here. Hows my line?

This is just spew imo. 4betting with Ax blocker is fine. I'd prolly bet like 1/3 the pot on flop and turn and give up on the river unimproved

Sry but just as a line, as a concept, I don't see any consistency with why anyone would 1/2p flop and obshove turn. It makes little sense to me. Do you play a lot of your hands this way?

no meant for it to be psb on turn, messed up flop bet

shove is spew but i don't see why you would put in a psb on the turn either. i mean what does it accomplish that a 1/2-2/3 pot bet doesn't aside from making the balancing of your range unnecessarily more difficult. I like numeritos' idea of 1/3 pot on flop and 1/3 on turn before checking unimproved on the river but seeing as though u went 1/2 pot on the flop you could do the same on the turn.

more importantly though in the op you say that he called two of your 4 bets but you didn't say what action followed afterwards. i mean if he had folded to your c-bets in both and now he calls this one i would be worried about barrelling too hard here whereas if he folded to turn bets after calling flop bets in both i would be more inclined to fire the turn.

He showed down a SC and broadways once. Thought this type of player c/c c/f any pair worse than a king. Pretty sure an equity calc would show this being a pretty profitable play if i set up the bet sizing better on the flop to make it more psb on the turn. too lazy right now though but if anyone does his range for calling flop would be something like 79 78 67 55 66 88 KQ KJ. And I gots me 7 outs. Can only see him calling kq kj on the turn.

Either something happens here that's really bad (he calls), whatever (he folds when A high was good), or pretty okay (he folds when he had you beat). I think the first two happen far more frequently than the third.

Centuari is the best in this forum at concisely dissecting and articulating the crux advice or principle of a hand. Big +1 to the young Latvian once again.

I agree with centuri ;however, Thats what im trying to decide. If he folds enough to make this profitable given the outs. Except for the fact I think A-high is actually never good here.
